Registration is $25 per Scout and will be available online (the quickest method) or in person beginning at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 10 for those in the UNPC district. Those in other districts, registration opens on Thursday, January 11 at 8:00 a.m. Registration will continue until Monday, March 5, at 12:00 p.m. (as long as space is available). Please note that the Scout’s parent or legal guardian must be the one to complete the registration (to create a personal log-in and select security questions for the account. You must be the parent or legal guardian to register someone under 18 years old. By registering a child under 13, you are consenting to the collection of the child's information you are providing for the purposes of registration.)
Note: Some walk-in space will be available on the first day of PowWow. HOWEVER, that space will be very limited; we cannot guarantee that every class will have open spaces.
Scheduling is on a first-come, first-served basis. We will honor scheduling requests to the best of our ability. Full tuition payment is due on registration.
Note: Only the parent/guardian can authorize an account to be set up and registered for PowWow. If your Scout hasn’t attended PowWow previously, the parent/guardian must create the account in order for the Scoutmaster to register Scouts for PowWow. To create the child’s account please contact our registration office 801-422-8925 prior to Wednesday to help speed up the process.
When registration is open, click on the registration button above. After clicking the “Register Now” button, you can log in using a Scout‘s User ID and password, or you can create a User ID. After logging in, you will be guided through the registration process. Please note that when you register for a Scout, you should enter his information—but please use a parent‘s email address, as we often communicate about the program by email.
During the registration process, a Scout may register for up to three merit badges. Each merit badge class will have a section letter assigned as well as a time (e.g., Art, Section B, 9:00–10:00 a.m.). All Scouts who register for the same section and time will be in the same class. If one section is full, the Scout can choose another section. When different sections of the same merit badge are in different classrooms, this will be indicated. A Scout may return to the registration page until 12:00 p.m. March 5 to change his selection to a different section or merit badge, as long as there is still space available.
A confirmation page showing class locations and times will be sent to those who register. Please have your Scout bring this schedule with him each day of the PowWow.
The PowWow has limited enrollment. The registration fee is $25 per Scout even if he registers for only one class. No registrations, refund requests, or class changes can be accepted after 12:00 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2018.
Participants of any race, color, creed, and ethnic or national origin are accepted for admission to this program, provided they maintain the university standards while on campus. These include modesty in dress and conduct, and abstinence from alcohol, tobacco, coffee, tea, and harmful drugs.

A full refund (minus a $5 handling fee) will be assessed on all cancellations requested by 12:00 p.m. March 5, 2018. To request a refund, please call 801-422-8925. After March 5 at 12:00 p.m., no refunds will be given. All refunds requested by the refund deadline will be credited to the debit or credit card you used when registering. If you paid by cash or check, the amount will be returned by check to the name and address of the person registered. All refunds requested by the refund deadlin will be processed after the program ends. Please allow 3-4 weeks for the refund process.
